It's been ages

I know it's been forever since I've posted but too much has been happening - some of it good, some of it not - and I just kind of fell out of the blogging groove. Suffice to say I don't want to recap the not-so-great stuff and I'm paranoid about jinxing what may come so I have no clue why I'm even writing except maybe to try and get back in the habit. Not that the world is missing out on the nonsense I usually include on here but it's nice to know my blog is still around whenever I want to come back to it.
