I don't know what to say

I realize I haven't posted in about 2 weeks or so, but sh*t happens. I've probably written a dozen posts in my head and yet haven't had any real, fully-formed thoughts about anything lately. It all seems too overwhelming...what's going on in Darfur, Israel/Lebanon, the floodings, lack of electricity & record temperatures in our own country. I mean, how can I post about the Tide-to-Go pen (it worked for me though I've heard mixed reviews) or the hottie I met on the train when all of this is going on? It's got me to thinking that maybe I need to do something more meaningful job-wise, perhaps work for a non-profit. The only problem there is finding a job that will allow me to pay my bills. I don't know, I just feel so scattered these days...

I am drafting a couple of posts, that may meld into one, about things I've seen and done recently like going to Radio City for "An Evening With Harry, Carrie & Garp", seeing a fantastic film called "Little Miss Sunshine", and I'll be at Randall's Island tomorrow for the DMB show (I'll be working at the Amnesty International table).
